Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the theatre by Norbert Goeneutte was auctioned at Christies in London in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,532.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Norbert Goeneutte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salon Japonais in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 59,515.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At the theatre von Norbert Goeneutte kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.532,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norbert Goeneutte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salon Japonais im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 59.515,01).
