Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Norbert Goeneutte could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Belle Époque Splendor: The Discerning Eye of a Collector auction, the work Nathalie Goeneutte, the Artist's Sister, on a Riverbank changed hands for USD 11,970.00 (€ 11,154.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Norbert Goeneutte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Salon Japonais in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 59,515.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Norbert Goeneutte konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Belle Époque Splendor: The Discerning Eye of a Collector wechselte die Arbeit Nathalie Goeneutte, the Artist's Sister, on a Riverbank für USD 11.970,00 (€ 11.154,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norbert Goeneutte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Salon Japonais im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 59.515,01).
