The work Dialogue by Nona Garcia was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 44,502.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nona Garcia; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot In The Garden sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of HKD 967,500.00 (€ 79,734.23).
