The work Light Of Solitude by Niti Wattuya was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,060.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Niti Wattuya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dark Age in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 59,309.25).

Die Arbeit Light Of Solitude von Niti Wattuya wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.060,76) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niti Wattuya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dark Age im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 59.309,25).
