Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boat By The Pier by Niti Wattuya was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 5,785.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 48,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Niti Wattuya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dark Age in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 59,309.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boat By The Pier von Niti Wattuya kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 5.785,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 48.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Niti Wattuya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dark Age im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 59.309,25).
