Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included this untitled work by Nir Hod. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,896.65), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nir Hod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life We Left Behind in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,328.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nir Hod zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.896,65) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nir Hod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life We Left Behind im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.328,34).
