Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forever, Unknown Love by Nir Hod was sold in the 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel auction at Christies in Tel Aviv in April 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,620.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nir Hod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life We Left Behind in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,328.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forever, Unknown Love von Nir Hod wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel bei Christies in Tel Aviv versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.620,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nir Hod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life We Left Behind im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.328,34).
