Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs, which included the work A Chestnut Polo Pony, Monte Carlo, In A Playing Field by Nina Colmore. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,736.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nina Colmore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Setting off with the Cottesbrook, which sold at auction in June 2004 for GBP 2,629.00 (€ 3,912.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Chestnut Polo Pony, Monte Carlo, In A Playing Field von Nina Colmore zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.736,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nina Colmore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Setting off with the Cottesbrook beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für GBP 2.629,00 (€ 3.912,74) versteigert wurde.
