In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov, which included the work Guru-Guri Dhar by Nicholas Roerich. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 25,461.60), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Himself Came in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,756,500.00 (€ 2,459,554.43).
