Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work View Over The Auteil Aqueduct, Paris by Nikolai Alexandrovich Benois. The price achieved of GBP 1,140.00 (€ 1,649.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nikolai Alexandrovich Benois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Village in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 34,572.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Over The Auteil Aqueduct, Paris von Nikolai Alexandrovich Benois zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.140,00 (€ 1.649,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nikolai Alexandrovich Benois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Village im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 34.572,32).
