It achieved a price of USD 228,600.00 (€ 214,567.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Admittedly, works by Nicole Eisenman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mermaid Catch in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 862,500.00 (€ 1,013,215.32).

Die Arbeit Starry Night von Nicole Eisenman kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 228.600,00 (€ 214.567,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicole Eisenman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mermaid Catch im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 862.500,00 (€ 1.013.215,32).
