Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Ombú) by Nicolás García Uriburu for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,764.80). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolás García Uriburu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Ombú) von Nicolás García Uriburu für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.764,80) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolás García Uriburu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Marie Antoinette And Cats) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
