Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Présumé De La Duchesse De Montbazon by Nicolas de Largillière was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 31,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas de Largillière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La belle Strasbourgeoise in September 2020 with an auction result of EUR 1,570,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Présumé De La Duchesse De Montbazon von Nicolas de Largillière wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 31.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolas de Largillière erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La belle Strasbourgeoise im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.570.000,00.
