Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Lady Seated In A Landscape With Her Pet Dog And A Monkey by Nicolas de Largillière was sold in the Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 57,902.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolas de Largillière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La belle Strasbourgeoise in September 2020 with an auction result of EUR 1,570,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady Seated In A Landscape With Her Pet Dog And A Monkey von Nicolas de Largillière wurde im Januar 2017 in der Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
