Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fisherman's Cove by Nicolai Fechin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 226,800.00 (€ 200,939.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicolai Fechin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 3,650,900.00 (€ 4,144,314.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fisherman's Cove von Nicolai Fechin kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 200.939,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicolai Fechin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Nadezhda Sapozhnikova im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.650.900,00 (€ 4.144.314,62).
