Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nick Waplington was sold in the Stonewall@50 Photographs Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 637.50 (€ 572.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Nick Waplington have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rock Pool No. 1 in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,270.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nick Waplington wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 637,50 (€ 572,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nick Waplington auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rock Pool No. 1 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.270,24).
