Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bonhams held the auction POP X Culture, which included the work 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1, from Polytheism, 2023 by Nick Smith. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 768.00 (€ 881.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 in October this year with an auction result of GBP 21,760.00 (€ 24,986.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion POP X Culture durch, in der auch die Arbeit 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1, from Polytheism, 2023 von Nick Smith zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 768,00 (€ 881,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.760,00 (€ 24.986,53).
