Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 1923 Converse Chuck Taylor, from Polytheism, 2023 by Nick Smith was sold in the POP X Culture auction at Bonhams in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 734.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work $ 195,040,000 USD, 2022 in October this year with an auction result of GBP 21,760.00 (€ 24,986.53).
