In April 2018 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work I'm by Nick Darmstaedter. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,416.68), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nick Darmstaedter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suck in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 117,991.76).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im April 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit I'm von Nick Darmstaedter zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.416,68) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nick Darmstaedter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suck im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 117.991,76).
