The work Evening, from the Himalayan series by Nicholas Roerich was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,762.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicholas Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Himself Came in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,756,500.00 (€ 2,459,554.43).

Die Arbeit Evening, from the Himalayan series von Nicholas Roerich wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.762,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicholas Roerich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Himself Came im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.756.500,00 (€ 2.459.554,43).
