The result of AUD 3,000.00 (€ 1,763.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicholas Harding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian back Beach Pandanus in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 18,000.00 (€ 10,507.46).
