Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Sculpture Sale, which included the work Eve And The Snake by Nic Jonk. The price achieved of EUR 9,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nic Jonk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nereide op Triton II, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 21,510.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Sculpture Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eve And The Snake von Nic Jonk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nic Jonk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nereide op Triton II beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 21.510,00 versteigert wurde.
