Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction Dialogues: Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Maquette for Horse at Water Hong Kong by Nic Fiddian-Green. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,914.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nic Fiddian-Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horse At Water Xv in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,234.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Dialogues: Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maquette for Horse at Water Hong Kong von Nic Fiddian-Green zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.914,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nic Fiddian-Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horse At Water Xv im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.234,64).
