Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Silence 104 cm. (40 7/8 in.) high (excluding the detachable plinth); 210 cm. (82 5/8 in.) high (including the detachable plinth) by Nic Fiddian-Green. The price achieved of GBP 48,180.00 (€ 55,829.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Nic Fiddian-Green have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Horse At Water Xv was auctioned for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,234.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Silence 104 cm. (40 7/8 in.) high (excluding the detachable plinth); 210 cm. (82 5/8 in.) high (including the detachable plinth) von Nic Fiddian-Green zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 48.180,00 (€ 55.829,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nic Fiddian-Green konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2018 die Arbeit Horse At Water Xv für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.234,64) versteigert.
