Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horse at Water by Nic Fiddian-Green was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,984.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nic Fiddian-Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horse At Water Xv in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,234.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horse at Water von Nic Fiddian-Green kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.984,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nic Fiddian-Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horse At Water Xv im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.234,64).
