A top price for Ni Can
This artwork by Ni Can achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes After Song Masters sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,180.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. This high result makes Landscapes After Song Masters the most expensive artwork by Ni Can that we have observed at auctions so far.
