Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Clouds Over The Autumn Hills by Ni Can was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2001. It achieved a price of HKD 49,350.00 (€ 7,129.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ni Can - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes After Song Masters, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,180.90).

Die Arbeit Clouds Over The Autumn Hills von Ni Can kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 49.350,00 (€ 7.129,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ni Can mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes After Song Masters beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.180,90) versteigert wurde.
