Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pagoda Brown by Nguyen Trung was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Trung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies in the Peach Garden in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pagoda Brown von Nguyen Trung wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art Online: Come Fly with Me bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Trung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies in the Peach Garden im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.790,75).
