The work Lady by Nguyen Trung was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June last year. It achieved a price of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 12,412.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Admittedly, works by Nguyen Trung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ladies in the Peach Garden in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady von Nguyen Trung kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 12.412,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyen Trung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ladies in the Peach Garden im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.790,75).
