The work Lady with Lotus and Fish by Nguyen Trung was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 277,500.00 (€ 29,710.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nguyen Trung; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ladies in the Peach Garden sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75).

Die Arbeit Lady with Lotus and Fish von Nguyen Trung wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 277.500,00 (€ 29.710,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Nguyen Trung; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ladies in the Peach Garden im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.790,75).
