Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lady with Flower by Nguyen Trung was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 177,500.00 (€ 19,736.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nguyen Trung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ladies in the Peach Garden, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady with Flower von Nguyen Trung kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 177.500,00 (€ 19.736,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nguyen Trung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ladies in the Peach Garden beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.790,75) versteigert wurde.
