Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nguyễn Gia Trí achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Evening Sale auction, the work Landscape with Ricefields sold for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 40,970.44) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nguyễn Gia Trí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Provincial Village in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 5,140,000.00 (€ 565,717.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nguyễn Gia Trí erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Landscape with Ricefields für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 40.970,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nguyễn Gia Trí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Provincial Village im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.140.000,00 (€ 565.717,72).
