Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ladies in the Garden by Nguyễn Gia Trí was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 61,629.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nguyễn Gia Trí have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Provincial Village in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 5,140,000.00 (€ 565,717.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ladies in the Garden von Nguyễn Gia Trí wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 61.629,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nguyễn Gia Trí auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Provincial Village im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.140.000,00 (€ 565.717,72).
