Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Neal Slavin could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Untitled (Statue of Liberty) changed hands for USD 717.00 (€ 665.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Neal Slavin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May this year by the work Groups in America, Four Photographs at USD 892.50 (€ 837.71).
