A top price for Navin Rawanchaikul - as previously expected
In March 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong, which included the work There Is No Voice #6 by Navin Rawanchaikul. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,463.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 260,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, There Is No Voice #6 is the most expensive artwork by Navin Rawanchaikul that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit There Is No Voice #6 von Navin Rawanchaikul zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.463,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist There Is No Voice #6 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Navin Rawanchaikul, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
