Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work I LOVE TAXI by Navin Rawanchaikul. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 15,232.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Navin Rawanchaikul have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2016 the work There Is No Voice #6 was auctioned for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,463.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit I LOVE TAXI von Navin Rawanchaikul zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 15.232,09) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Navin Rawanchaikul konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2016 die Arbeit There Is No Voice #6 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.463,13) versteigert.
