Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of Colonel John Hale (1728-1806), Of The 17Th Light Dragoons by Nathanial Hone the Younger was sold in the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III auction at Sothebys in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,477.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nathanial Hone the Younger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Captain the Hon. Robert Boyle Walsingham, M.P. (1736-1780), full-length, in naval uniform, with a view of Louisbourg, Canada, beyond in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 245,750.00 (€ 394,338.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Colonel John Hale (1728-1806), Of The 17Th Light Dragoons von Nathanial Hone the Younger wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Robert Boyle Walsingham, M.P. (1736-1780), full-length, in naval uniform, with a view of Louisbourg, Canada, beyond im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 245.750,00 (€ 394.338,12).
