The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,697.91), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nathan Lerner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Light Experiment' in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nathan Lerner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Light Experiment' im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
