Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work My favourite part of my favourite painting by Nate Lowman for USD 1,080.00 (€ 993.38). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nate Lowman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled Marilyn #13 in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 530,500.00 (€ 643,624.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit My favourite part of my favourite painting von Nate Lowman für USD 1.080,00 (€ 993,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nate Lowman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled Marilyn #13 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 530.500,00 (€ 643.624,15).
