Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2018 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (from the Earth Study series) by Nataraj Sharma. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,991.05), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nataraj Sharma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Aegean in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,085.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (from the Earth Study series) von Nataraj Sharma zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.991,05) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nataraj Sharma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Aegean im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 47.085,25).
