Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Structure (Crane); Flame Tower by Nataraj Sharma was sold in the A Pioneering Vision: Works from the Collection of Shumita and Arani Bose auction at Christies in New York in September 2014. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,959.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nataraj Sharma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Aegean in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,085.25).

Die Arbeit Structure (Crane); Flame Tower von Nataraj Sharma wurde im September 2014 in der Auktion A Pioneering Vision: Works from the Collection of Shumita and Arani Bose bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.959,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nataraj Sharma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Aegean im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 47.085,25).
