Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Andy Warhol´S Factory, Sussanah Campbell, Gerard Malanga, Butcher, 1964 by Nat Finkelstein was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,063.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nat Finkelstein have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2000 the work Andy Warhol and friends, circa 1964, printed later was auctioned for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 2,008.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Andy Warhol´S Factory, Sussanah Campbell, Gerard Malanga, Butcher, 1964 von Nat Finkelstein kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.063,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Nat Finkelstein konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2000 die Arbeit Andy Warhol and friends, circa 1964, printed later für GBP 1.175,00 (€ 2.008,41) versteigert.
