Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nassos Daphnis could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale auction, the work SS 1-82A, 1982 changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 218.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nassos Daphnis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 20-60 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 48,750.00 (€ 57,130.19).
