Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life by Nasser Ovissi for GBP 5,994.00 (€ 6,691.33). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nasser Ovissi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horses in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 96,593.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life von Nasser Ovissi für GBP 5.994,00 (€ 6.691,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nasser Ovissi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horses im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 96.593,60).
