In October 2015 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1964 by Nasser Assar. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,200.00 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nasser Assar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1964 von Nasser Assar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.200,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasser Assar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16).
