The work Blue Fragment by Nasser Assar was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2016. It achieved a price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,683.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasser Assar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,898.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Blue Fragment von Nasser Assar kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.683,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasser Assar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.898,16) versteigert wurde.
