Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Nasrollah Afjehei was auctioned at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 74,500.00 (€ 56,145.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasrollah Afjehei kam im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 56.145,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
