This work without title by Nasrollah Afjehei was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,681.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasrollah Afjehei wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.681,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
