Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shabe Chahardahom (The 14Th Night) by Nasrollah Afjehei was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The price achieved of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 56,997.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nasrollah Afjehei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wave, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 56.997,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95) versteigert wurde.
