Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Nasrollah Afjehei was sold in the Visions d'Orient - De l'orientalisme à l'art contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Nasrollah Afjehei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wave in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 218,500.00 (€ 147,425.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Nasrollah Afjehei wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Visions d'Orient - De l'orientalisme à l'art contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasrollah Afjehei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wave im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 147.425,95).
